The Isle of the Blessed pagan Festival is a retreat filled with activities, workshops,fun and food. This is our first year and we are looking forward to making this a success and a reoccurring event.
Camp Moorecroft is in Nanoose Bay, a twenty five minute drive from downtown Nanaimo. It is located on an ocean front property with 85 acres of land to explore. There are several small cabins nestled into the woods, all the bunks in the cabins come with mattresses. The camp has two wash houses with hot showers. There is a large kitchen and dining facilities, children's playground, playing field and hiking paths. An ocean front beach is available for swimming. The weekend is clothing required at all times.
There will be some children's activities scheduled as well as childcare. Parents if you are using childcare please volunteer to help with childcare so everyone gets a chance to participate. Children are everyone's responsibility so if you see a child unattended by the waterfront please escort it back to his/her parents.
Please indicate on your registration form what times you prefer for volunteering. Presenting a workshop or ritual, while greatly appreciated, is not considered volunteer time. Volunteering is required to make this retreat a success for everyone. Please ensure your volunteer time does not conflict with any workshops you may be leading. Adults and children 12 and older are expected to volunteer.
No animals will be admitted except seeing eye and “assist” dogs.
The cabins are heated with mattresses but you will need to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows. Please indicate on your registration if you have mobility difficulties and require suitable accommodations. Also, please indicate on your form if you have a preference of roommates you would like to share accommodations with. While we will try our best to accommodate your preference for roommates, this, it is not guaranteed.

If you have wares or services that you would like to sell please indicate on your form. There is a $25 merchant fee if you are not part of the retreat registrants. You will be responsible for your items at all times. We do not provide tables or shelters for vendors, you must supply your own.
